System test - night - fuel cell is charging!!!

Fuel cell worked just fine!!!

Charging ok; making a little vibration noise that is super super silent and a little slurpy noise as it pumps up the methanol.

The display makes it very clear when it is in standby, in 'start phase' and in 'charging' phase (by also displaying the current that is being pumped out)

You can also test the gauge by comparing the voltage that the sensor of the fuel cell reads and the voltage that the gauge reads for that same battery.

It charges things up slowly when there is no load (like 2A or so) but seems to be able to adjust that current to protect the battery (if you add load to it, thus keeping discharging the battery).

I really love this little piece of equipment!! So easy to use once it is set up.

Nat, can you post a link for the fuel cell you're using? I've never seriously considered one, but it sounds interesting.
