Echappée (échappée)

These are the meaning according to the French dictionary (Académie Française)Image
  • Action by a racer of distancing the other racers (wishful thinking here probably ;-))
  • Journey to liberate yourself from everyday constraints (this journey can be physical, or spiritual - over time or distance)
  • A narrow space from where you can see very far away  (vista)
  • Exit
  • Space between steps of a flight of stairs and the ceiling (wtf???)
  • Fact of breakaway from other riders in a peloton
  • Short moment of relaxation
  • Escapade (ie adventure)
