More life onboard...

we finally put the kite back up and left a kite up most of the way. We had to take it down a few nights , often after my watch, because of mast pumping, probably due to a lack of headstay. Nathan periodically tightened the webbing to counteract the stretching and we had the backstay cranked on (our mast was pulled way aft which isnt good for our downwind setup...but hey...)

our old spinnaker is up. its a reacher and was up with clement weather and reachy course. (broad reach). we had a runner and France for heavy weather.

Since we didnt have weather information, we decided to just follow the shortest distance to Hawaii, stay South and well clear of the Pacific High (no wind area). It got increasingly warm...note the change in gear!!!

and the change in water color. The Pacific in tropical areas is so deeply blue...
