SHTP Stories - Post Arrival. July 15th

On July 15th, we are picking up some food and more gear from our boats and we will go to Nawiliwili small boat harbor to get organized for the shipping back.

\

Cliff and George are getting Sea Squirrel ready to give us a ride to our boat to pick up extra food which we will eat during the week and a change of clothes.

Elise is waiting for me...Archimedes drifted off anchor onto rocks but was rescued in time so I am glad that I am able to check up on the boat.

It rained pretty much every day while I was there, but with good period of hot muggy sun.

My steed in Hanalei Bay anchorage.

About to board to get my stuff.

Joe did the same thing on Archimedes.

Filling paperwork at Nawiliwili harbor as we will be sailing the boats around the following day (that is Bandicoot, Elise and Archimedes). The harbor was very supportive.

The harbor is in a beautiful setting.

We had brunch near Nawiliwili - and a scrumptious coconut cream pie...

Tree time! On the right side of the picture in the forefront, Simin, Brian's wife. Each tree time, we greet the skippers who have just arrived. There will also be the skippers from the three boats who have turned around. I had not known that Maiterya had also turned around because of jib problems. It must be so hard for these people to be around us at the Tree.

Sunset on magical Hanalei Bay.
