Getting a second hand held GPS - I will leave one in the grab bag
SHTP requires a HH VHF with DSC calling capabilities
Got a SPOT just for friends and family, also for a qualifier. Kind of cool to see progress on a map. SHTP usually also has some kind of tracking system.
