Vallejo Provisional Results Sunday - Elise should probably get 2nd!

Elise raised a protest (for the first time ever!) as the boat in 2nd position, right before Elise, did not seem to have honored a mark of the course, thus would not technically have sailed the course hence not really finished. I noted that Nathan took pictures to highlight that fact which should help. We will see what the race committee decides, or what the skipper of the boat in 2nd position decides to do when notified (a gentleman-like attitude would be to volunteer to correct the results without any protest hearing) -

This is important for Elise's final ranking in the standings as this is a class event - it is the only reason why Elise is filing a protest -

Regardless of the results, this is a GREAT result for the boat (same crew as Saturday but for Eric I believe) - so huge congrats to the crew.

And big congrats to Echeyde on Discotheque!!!
