Another's boat work day for Serge

Serge finished off all the mildew cleaning on the boat, which usually requires taking everything out of the boat to make space, then apply mildew remover with a sponge, let it dry a little bit by airing out the boat, then put everything back into the boat where it was. It's a lot of work - even though the boat is small! So big big job, thank you very much Serge for doing it this spring. Next time is typically in the Fall after the season as the boat gets wet again after that...

We don't normally leave them on the boat as anything cloth-something tends to attract humidity so we keep them in my basement.[[posterous-content:pid___2]] Elise's bucket in her cockpit. The use of a boat cover has helped move the varnishing job frequency from once a year to once every two years which is a big gain![[posterous-content:pid___3]] Elise in her new spot
