Going out the gate, we had about 15 knots upwind, slowing down to below 10 which caused us to switch to the #1 (genoa).

Nathan off watch...Our new watch schedule with 3 people actually meant shorter off watch slots which really threw me out on the first day. On the first day of any race, it can be difficult to sleep as you just come out of a full night's sleep...
