Discussing next steps with the stars at Elise - SHTP prep

Saying hi to the girl...We have shared so much already, and there is so much more to come.
She is very special to me - and to Nathan and to Serge.

Peter (left) is the master electrician who has equipped race boats before. He is amazing. He knows to do things the light and high performance way. Things stay dry, things stay functional. Jason (right), the magician rigger and king of 'special projects'.

Discussing with both of them where the solar panel should be installed. It is bigger than the one that was originally planned (but the attached point for the one 'on budget' would be similar as not much more space would be gained) - and it is much bigger than the rigid one, however so much lighter.

Looking at the other boats - see pictures above - it looks like some kind of really light contraption hanging OFF the boat over the transom is the way to go. Jason will project manage and work with Gordie on that attachment.

Decision Decision

Elise's spreaders now have little leather protection - and right before the race, she will go out for a dynamic tuning session, ideally on a windier day.
