We got a 20 minute penalty for being over early (hmm, probably a little to do w/ not seeing the start line well enough at the right time. definitely not something I was aware of, otherwise would have dealt w/ it there and then, would have cost less than 20 minutes - something else that is very possible: we may have crossed the line inadvertently while looking for it, then crossed it back and finally started with the other boats, eg not early at that time, yet still be oficially 'over early')
Even with the +20 we beat some of them, but we got beat out of top 5 that way.
