Blue Angels 2011 - Navy Parade

 The 'Potomac', the old FDR boat, now available for charter came out to watch the parade and the air show

 The big aircraft carrier, 200 feet from the bottom of the hull to the top of the bridge

The sailors are forming a human fence around the deck

The Fireboat opened the parade

More ships followed but the aircraft carrier was definitely the most impressive of all the ships

The aircraft carrier fired its cannons and then on land, a cannon was fired to greet each ship as it was passing by.
