Nat's Tent - Coastal Cup 2010

At night, the wind didn't slow down at all - still up at 38-45 knots. As you can tell, I am totally wet (and you can see that the spray would never leave us in peace :-) but it did leave us in one piece) - I hadn't really dressed up for the night when I came up on watch so I appreciated the shelter this camp mat provided from both wind and waves. I was tucked in deep under it. I used my heavy foul weather jacket to protect my leg from the wind.

You notice that the genoa got scooped up by the wind and got taped to the shrouds.

On my right is the taped up watch schedule...

BTW - the cushions are really helpful. They may be wet, but they still provide a good temperature cushion compared to bare fiber glass.
