So what did we do when we arrived at Santa Barbara and had slept a little bit??? Wine and Cheese!!!! for lunch...
A big dinner followed by a big dessert... This is one person's share!!!
Speaking of pulling the boat out of the water, we wasted hours trying to guesstimate the actual top load of the public hoist that was officially rated for 4,000 pounds...Turns out it was more like 'less than 3,000', we had to unload half the boat equipment before the hoist agreed to take the boat up.
Ridiculous...
Oh, and the hoist is not free. The municipality of Santa Barbara has definitely found a good way to generate new funds for the harbor...
