And the day came when we started - Crescendo proudly took her position in the parade and looked beautiful gliding over the start line.
San Diego put up quite a show with the fire boats hosing off water to wish us a good trip. I have to admit that I had mixed feeling, wondering if I would be happy or not cruising for days - yet looking forward to a sail on that day. And a spinnaker hoist later in the day.
