Baja Ha Ha - Leg 2

Photo: Megan - there were a lot of days with no wind and the engine would be the only possible way to move forward - and there were paries to go to.

This little guy came out of nowhere. I was sleeping down below when I heard a flapping of wings. it must have gone from boat to boat as we were too far away from land for it to be able to fly all the way to us. We fed it a little bit of cereals. Mark wanted him away from the boat. I felt so bad. I don't know if it could survive.

And one more beautiful sunset...

The boat is immaculate down below which is a delight - and it has a TV and a DVD player! We were watching Mr and Mrs Smith that day. We also did a Harry Potter marathon...

More spinnaker sailing fun

Megan didn't like having her picture taken

The wind picked up and we dropped the kite to reduce the load on the rig... and I think mostly on the drivers

Working the grill

Some bottles fell out of one of the lockers onto the floor - Megan and Daniel had to clean them and it took forever for them to dry out.

Motor sailing, like a lot of the Baja

There was a motorboat division. The name was hilarious, it was called the 'No Comprende'. These guys carried hundreds of gallons of fuel.
