That is taken by Serge, this is not Serge. There was some sea lion activity ahead. Looks like Serge managed to capture it really nicely.
Nathan is wrapping up a precious gift but Nat does not know that yet.
Nathan on the VHF: 'wow, this fellow here doesn't seem to have a very steady footing'
Nat discards this completely because she thinks that Nathan is joking about Serge tasting the wine inventory on Echappee.
But then Nathan and Serge points at a floating lifejacket
Nat thinks 'how clumsy do you have to be to drop a lifejacket that is stored below deck when you are sitting underneath a hard dodger in a 46ft ketch'
Nathan on the VHF 'his name is Pinot, Pinot Gris'
Aha...now we're talking...a bottle of Alsace 2009 Pinot Gris is attached to the lifejacket.
And so a man overboard maneuver ensues...except that Nat hadn't planned on the friction of the helm and how it affects the turning radius... so it took three tries to get the bottle
Victory!
Next, Nathan on the VHF 'want grilled cheese?'
Nat: sure, will go great with the wine. Elise starts getting closer to Echappee...
And picks up the goods!
