Still ToDos on Elise

Sail Inventory

 

• Try out Libra's Spinnaker
• Add the frog logo on a new spinnaker + New spinnaker is on order (race 3/4 - Elise has a 1.5oz too for heavier weather) - DELIVERY SHOULD BE THIS WEEK

Glass/Epoxy Work

 

• Epoxy fixed end of companion way hatch end points (for lock) - READY!!!
• -- reseal and fix spider cracks in gel coat / cockpit (in progress)

Offshore and short-handed Improvements

• Seal off companionway hatch with weather strip
• chafe protection for halyards
• buy new plexiglas bottom door 
• Make equipment location chart & display it
• Add sheets to storm jib (away from #4)
• Investigate a way to generate power during the night to run autopilot
• Band it tool or Spanish Windlass
• Add a second track on the mast for the trysail to make it easy to hoist
• G10 a way to hold emergency rudder inside and a way to hold a big anchor
• Get new bolt cutter capable of slicing through rod
• Add 2nd solar panel

Living Quarters

• Tighten Metal Lifting Eye above keel boats (it wiggles)
• Fix wooden support for the engine. got chipped at

Racing Improvements

• Thicken cover for jib halyard
• Tape/Sign anything that needs to be on the boat (car positions, halyard positions, etc...)
• • Add instrument repeater on the mast for boat speed
• • Replace one backstay turning block below deck that got a bit corroded

Electrical

• Deck level LED lights
• Add ability to charge the battery that is not in use 

Trailer

• Check lights & brakes
• --Lube, grease, rust proof areas of trailer, tire pressure, bearings
