Elise was out only the last day as we were just back from Pac Cup (well, the boat was) - it still had a lot of the offshore equipment on so it really wasn't very competitive but it was fun anyway!
Looks like day 2 was pretty windy, typical of the Nationals I would say. It helps to see why weight on the rail makes a difference in how competitive the boat can be. If you do not have that weight, the choice becomes either accepting to heel a lot more hence be slower or reducing your sail area, hence be slower. I guess that's not much of a choice ;-)
