Nathan is keeping the boom out (when the wind comes forward because you are too fast or when there isn't enough wind...it's really helpful. When there is a lot of wind, you may want that person aft!

Elise checking in for the race (2 way VHF communication had to be established before leaving. We were still setting the boat up for offshore sailing.
