1- Getting the boat ready
Sarah is packing the spinnaker
2 - upwind out the gate
Passengers
As soon as we sailed under the gate Pierre took the helm and kept it until Elise got to the dock
On our way to Point Bonita lighthouse. We sailed with a reefed main and a #3 jib upwind.
3- downwind
Going a million miles an hour as Sarah put it. Conditions between 17 to 23 knots. Perfect for Elise.
We didn't shake the reef and Elise still did 11 knots
Sarah posing - and being a boom sitter
4- Back upwind fighting a flood
Enjoying a beer and watching the sunset
5- Putting the boat away
After Pierre drove it one inch away from a couple of power boats, she arrived unscathed back at the dock.
6 - enjoying the favorite part of sailing. Drinks and food among friends, remembering the events of the day
