All went well, our tactician sent us first to the second mark of the course so we took a 35 min detour to go back to the first mark, I guess that's what you get when you ask for a South Bay tactician - not much knowledge of the Central Bay.
We had a great time though and there was wind all the way to Sequoia Yacht Club. We had a drink on the boat, a drink at the Club and we headed out to a Russian restaurant in Redwood City.
Nathan; Kevin and Nat slept on the boat and after a hearty breakfast at the Club were towed on Elise to South Beach harbor by Max and Serge the following day as there was no wind at all. Nathan tried to troubleshoot Max's engine but did not quite solve the problem.
Getting ready for a long tow
The final leg of the race. Brian drove the final bit.
We were not last! We caught up with an Express 27 at Alcatraz.

Some mushroom dumplings
I had a strange experience because the glass of vodka I picked up at the end of the meal parted into two!!! I guess it didn't survived the thermal shock...
Fortunately I was given a second chance
Bye Serge
