Cleaned up Elise interior

She needed it...I also applied some teak cleaner and brightener to the teak settees. She is mostly clean now - and the 'anti-mildew' product seems to be pretty effective! A few things remain to be done, and that will be for my next time on the boat

1) slowly run water from a hose from the stern (below deck), under the berths and let if flow to the bilge and carry with it a lot of the first and salt that was hard to get to with a regular sponge...Tip: do this on a nice and sunny day and allow plenty of time for it to dry while the boat is open and aired out

2) apply some antirust treatment to a lot of the fasteners that are visible from below deck

3) apply two coats of teak oil to the settees

4) re-seal the shroud chainplates (the nav table was turned into a pool after the recent rains)

I have also removed a lot of 'spares' still left over from the Pacific Cup. We do not need 4 rolls of electrical tape, 5 of sail tape, 6 (!) of rigging tape at any one time on the boat during regular operations. Nor do we need 6 rolls of marine toilet paper...I have also nicely re-organize all the spares that we do carry. They are broken up into four buckets

1) fasteners

2) 'stoppers' such as cotter pins

3) chemicals (such as silicone sealant, 5200, grease, etc...)

4) boat parts (shackles, blocks, padeyes, etc...)

Our spare lines are kept in my garage...unless the boat is due to go on an extensive trip...

I have also identified where the second half of the main pre-feeder was hiding, the auto-pilot part that needs some fixing but I could not find the boat knife...I am calling Sherlock next.
