Sea Rewards

The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach - waiting for a gift from the sea.

Why am I spending time on a bike??

biking: use your own effort to go forward...fighting wind and gravity a lot of the time. Sounds stupid.
sailing: use the power of wind and waves to go forward while sipping a glass of wine. Sounds smart.

Varnishing

As Nat is delaying her qualifier for SHTP, she is focusing on the Death Ride, another one of these crazy ideas that Brian mentioned in passing...so the weekends between now and the Death Ride are spent on a bike.
Elise has some time to get some love.
And Serge is doing some nine coats of varnish post sanding...
